What sets the price of a Volkswagen
The generation matters first: a Golf 8 (since 2020) and a Golf 7 of the same year are not worth the same. Then come the engine, TSI petrol or TDI diesel, and the gearbox: a DSG automatic resells better than a manual on most models. The R-Line trim adds clear value, as do the sporty GTI, GTD and R versions, which our estimator treats as separate models.
How the sale works
You select the model, year, mileage, fuel, gearbox, power and trim in our estimator: the valuation comes in 2 minutes, free and without registering. After a few questions about the condition and a few photos, you receive a firm offer, confirmed the same day and valid for 7 days.
If you accept, we collect the car from you, anywhere in Belgium, 7 days a week from 10 am to 8 pm. Payment is made on the spot, by instant bank transfer, when you hand over the keys and papers. No pre-sale roadworthiness test needed: it is not compulsory when you sell to a professional.
Diesel or petrol: what changes at resale
TDIs remain popular with high-mileage drivers, but a Euro 5 diesel, usually registered before September 2015, has been barred from the Brussels low-emission zone since 1 January 2026, which weighs on its price. TSI petrol cars and the electric ID models, on the other hand, benefit from urban demand.
