Low-emission zone: what you need to know
The city has no low-emission zone at the end of 2026. The nearest zones are those of Brussels, where Euro 5 diesels have been barred since 1 January 2026, Antwerp and Ghent. A Euro 5 diesel therefore sells less easily than before to drivers who often go there.
Between Brussels and Flemish Brabant
Many residents of Leuven and the surrounding area work in Brussels. Since Euro 5 diesels have been barred there, many are changing cars: selling the old one quickly avoids keeping it idle for weeks.

If you accept, we set an appointment. On site, we check the car and the papers, you sign the sales contract, and payment goes out immediately by instant bank transfer. You keep your number plate. No pre-sale roadworthiness test is needed when you sell to a professional.
