What sets the price of a Volkswagen Polo
The Polo 5 (2009-2017) and the Polo 6, sold since 2017, share the Belgian market. At the same age the Polo 6 is worth more: bigger, better equipped, with a touchscreen and driver aids. The 1.0 TSI petrol is the most sought-after engine; the basic 1.0 MPI and the small TDI diesels sell for less. A DSG gearbox, the trim (Life, Style, R-Line) and low mileage push the price up. The Polo GTI is treated as a separate model.
