Sell your BMW 1 Series

What a used BMW 1 Series is worth in Belgium, year by year, and how to sell it within 24 h, without a listing or roadworthiness test.

What sets the price of a BMW 1 Series

The 1 Series F20 (2011-2019), rear-wheel drive, and the F40, sold since 2019 and now front-wheel drive, are the most common in Belgium. The F40 is worth more at the same age. The engine sets the price: 116d, 118d and 120d diesel or 118i and 120i petrol, the 118 being the most widespread. The M Sport trim adds clearly to the value, as do the Steptronic automatic, Navigation Professional and a BMW service history.

Frequently asked questions

How much is my BMW 1 Series worth?

The table above gives the median asking price in Belgium for a 118 by year. The valuation tool adjusts for your exact engine (116, 118, 120…), mileage, gearbox and trim.

Is my 1 Series M Sport worth more?

Yes. Pick M Sport in the trim field: the price is based on real 1 Series M Sport listings, which are clearly more expensive.

I don’t know the exact engine of my 1 Series: what should I do?

Check the badge on the boot (116d, 118i…) or the power in kW, box P.2 of the registration certificate: the tool infers the engine from the power.
